The lists of accepted contributions

The Scientific Committee invites and encourages all authors to submit their abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the Scientific Programme.

  • Submitted abstracts must be original. Abstracts previously published or presented at an international scientific meeting cannot be submitted.
  • All abstracts should be submitted/sent by e-mail to the conference secretariat (Romana@icaris.cz).
  • Please use the Abstract Template.
  • The person who submits the abstract will be automatically considered as a presenting author.
    Please make sure you fill in the e-mail contact properly as it will serve for further correspondence with the author(s).
  • Donīt forget to indicate a topic:
  • Very Low Temperatures and their Application
  • Superconductivity and its Applications
  • Cryocoolers and their Applications
  • Cryogenics in Particle Physics / Space Cryogenics
  • Cryomedicine,Therapy and Technology
  • Cryobiology, Preservation and Technology
  • Liquefaction and Separation of Industrial Gases
  • Liquefied Natural Gas
  • Cryogenic Energy Storage and Cryogenic Fuels
  • Industrial Applications of Cryogenic Gases
  • Authors will receive notification on acceptance of their abstract till March 15, 2012.
  • No ID number is necessary for the abstract submission process.

Basic Instructions and Rules

  • Abstracts must be written in English.
  • Paper size: A4 - width: 210 mm, height: 297 mm.
  • Margins: top 2 cm, bottom 2 cm, left 2 cm and right 2 cm.
  • A title: Type the full title of the abstract in bold 14 point Times New Roman font, centred, single line spacing, NOT block capitals.
  • Authors: Use 11 point Times New Roman font, centred, single line spacing, NOT block capitals.
    The last (family) name should be given first, followed by first name initial(s).
    The presenting author should be the first.
    Separate names by commas.
    Use English alphabet only, no specific national characters (umlauts, wedges, accents, etc.).
  • Affiliations: Use 11 point Times New Roman font, centred, single line spacing, NOT block capitals.
    Affiliations should be written using the following structure: Department, Institution, City, Country.
    Separate affiliations by semicolons.
    Do not write e-mail contacts or phone numbers in your affiliations.
  • Text: Use 11 point Times New Roman font and single line spacing throughout the entire abstract.
    Do not include footnotes or references in the abstract.
    Please avoid boldfacing, italics and underlining within the text.
    Maximum length of your abstract is 250 - 300 words.
