Accommodation

A number of hotels of various categories is available at reduced rates. Reserve your accommodation by filling in a registration form.

Do not pay for your reservation before you receive a confirmation from the conference secretariat (ICARIS Ltd.). The confirmation will be issued within 1-4 working days after you register.

The capacities at all hotels are limited; therefore we recommend ordering the accommodation as soon as possible. Reservations will be processed on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

In case we are not able to fulfil your order (due to overbooking of the hotel requested), we will offer you accommodation in another hotel of the same price category.

All costs associated with accommodation reserved through the conference secretariat must be paid to ICARIS, NOT to the hotel. You will only pay for your "extras" directly at the hotel (parking, phone calls, drinks, bar consumption, etc.).

Advance payment at the time of registration is required to complete the reservation.

Cancellation Conditions

Please inform the conference secretariat about any changes or cancellations in writing by e-mail or fax. Changes requested by telephone will not be accepted. The date on which your written cancellation is received will be considered as the date of cancellation.

Please do not contact the hotel directly for any reservation changes or cancellations.

The refunds will be made after the conference.

The hotel is located in the city center, next to the Prager Straße shopping district and were renovated in 2011.

The Cityherberge Hotel is located very close to the Dorint hotel and the city centre as well.

84 € for a double-bed room

Note: There is not possible to book the hotel for the night from September 14 till 15, 2012. The hotel is fully booked.

International Guest House (Student hostel)

The completely modernised Guest House, (opening: June 2006), is located directly on the university campus. You can reach the central station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof) and the city centre, with all its famous sights, within a couple of minutes.

Room equipment: All apartments are fully furnished. Bed linen, towels, quilt and pillow are provided. The kitchens are equipped with dishes and other kitchen utensils.

Prices:

39 € for a single-bed room for students, 45 € for a single-bed room for other participants

47 € for a double-bed room (only for students)
